I will be enrolling my son in Pre-school soon. I live in California and do not vaccinate for non-debatable reasons. I know I will need to apply for a philosophical exemption but am not sure how to go about that. What do I need to do?
On the back side of the immunization form is where the exemptions are. Most schools don't make copies of both sides so people don't realize they do have a choice not to poison their children. Just ask the school to give you a copy of that side. Good luck!

I don't know about California, but in Georgia I believe there is religious/philosophical exemption. I remember my chiropractor saying that he could give me the paper of exemption or refer me to someone who could.
If you have a chiropractor, start by asking him/her.

You know it's so funny because vaccinations are a real bummer, but have you ever thought of how devastating it would be for your child to catch one of those illnesses? It's because of moms who don't vaccinate that some of the illnesses are on the rise again. I know you don't want to debate and probably don't want to hear my opinion but this one gets me sometimes. Sorry.

Unless its a private school, (and I'm not really sure about that either), kids cannot go to school without vaccinations. You have to show proof of residency in the district you live in as well (electrical-water bill). The best people to ask would be someone are the school district's main office.

Laura B…You need to do your research. The only states in the union that don't offer an exemption other that medical for non-vaccination are Mississippi and West Virginia. Every other state cannot turn down a child for ANYTHING because of non-vaccination. Those two states only require certain vaccines, not all of them. Do your research before answering questions please.
