I told my friend that i went to the doctor yesterday and they gave me the hpv shot.
she told me this shot was dangerous because girls have died from it.
i’m 16 years old
what are the high risks i have?
i’m really worried, and she scared me so i’m panicking right now.

I got the shots a year ago and I`m fine. If it prevents cancer, get it because we know cancer will kill you.
Tell your friend to shut up and stop trying to scare you. Thousdands, if not more girls have had it, if it was so dangerous do you think they would continue it?
Yes there have been a FEW incidents with the shot, but out of the thousands of people who have had it, i would say that is nothing at all. Nothing medical is ever risk free, but honestly chill out you'll be fine!!
Now go tell her to weigh up the danger between cancer or the shot. Is she aware cancer kills more people then the shot!? Tell her to be quiet!

I personally will not get the shot.. and now I’m over the cut off. I’m always paranoid about new drugs or shots they come out with. But almost every drug or shot can cause death. Don’t panic about it. You would have started to have a reaction by now. your fine.
