"Proving" something "critically flawed" is very different from proving something concrete. Basically. When science tries to "prove" a negation, it just shows that further investigation is required. Until "what's right" is shown, I generally don't find the science conclusive, because, well, it's not. "Critically flawed" is a starting point...so what's true then? See what I mean? Also, if children get autism at the same age as when they get the vaccine, doesn't that link the two instead of unlink them? Regarding the intestinal inflammation, if it's there in children with autism, and it's there after the vaccine, then a) was it there before the vaccine? b) can that inflammation not cause autism c) do you have to have that inflammation while getting the vaccine to develop autism, where the child otherwise wouldn't d) if you wanted to induce autism, how would you do it? e) etc.

Just stating that autism is genetic is simply not a factual or scientific argument. It is a theory that includes assumptions to be tested and investigated.

Blame is generally not a very constructive tool.

What, in your opinion, are "facts?" I mean that question in all sincerity. Sure, a fact is something that is true. OK, what is true? How do you verify truth? Because you read that autism is genetic, now it's true? Because experts say so, it's true? When it truth there for you?

•	Wakefield studies, best known for making the connection between autism and the MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) Vaccine, have been proved critically flawed because about 90% of children in England received the MMR vaccine at the same age as children begin to develop autism symptoms. Also authors claim that autism is caused by the intestinal inflammation from the MMR vaccine, while the inflammation was observed after signs in autism in 100% of the cases.

•	Autism is genetic and is NOT caused by vaccines

•	The “home-movie” studies took advantage of the fact that many parents film their child’s first birthday (before autism diagnoses or vaccinations). When shown to specialists, they were able to very accurately pick out which children would later be diagnosed with autism, therefore autism was present before vaccinations.

•	One doctor says the study "very clearly shows that autism did not arrive through a vaccine."

•	Mercury has not been used invaccines since 1999.

Get ALL the facts before you blame vaccines n your child's condition

I am from GA and you can claim a religious exemption here without having to explain your religion. You don't need to state what you believe, only that you are opting out due to religious reasons. If you believe vaccines are a danger to your child, then it goes against your beliefs to endanger her. However, be aware that your pediatrician may refuse to continue seeing her in which case you simply find a vaccine-friendly doctor - they are widely available! You are right in your concerns about vaccines! Don't let others discourage your parenting! She's your child and endangering her life or health will only fall on your conscience, not your doctor's, not your family's, not your friends', or anyone else. They will all simply say 'I'm so sorry' and then wash their hands of the responsibility. Research outside the circle of the CDC and other's closely linked such as the AAP and AMA for example, will show a much different result. Look outside that circle and see what those who are not profiting from vaccines have to say. Only sheep follow each other off a cliff - think for yourself!

For someone not to feel some "danger" or sense of worry simply means they are ignorant or uneducated to the potential danger. The fact that you have taken the time to research side effects is a very smart move. However, it boils down to gut instinct and knowledge. And as far as down syndrome...really? Was that really said? And "vaccines cause autism". That is hysterical. I seriously doubt the people making that claim are even of aware of the specific type of mercury that allegedly caused a relational increase in the risk of developing autism.
Seriously, Go with your gut. Ask your husband.
References :
Yes.That is why I am delaying or maybe even not getting them.I know there will be a select few that I will not let my son get no questions about it,but still undecided on the rest.IF he gets any shots,it will be when he is older.I feel that regardless of what others say about you,it is your child & therefore your desicion. In the end,who really cares what complete strangers say or think about them anyways!!
References :
I asked my doctor about this too. He said there is a bigger risk to your child if he/ she is not vaccinated. Because of this autism scare alot of parents are not vaccinating thier chilred. If there was an outbreak and you choose for your chid to not get vaccinated guess whats going to happen.
If autism was in your family i could see why you might look more into it, maybe genetic screening ect...Still its better to vaccinate your children to prevent disease and outbreak.
References :
mother of 2

I didn't used to, but I certainly do now. When my third baby got his four month shots he slept for two days then stopped babbling, smiling, laughing, and waving. My next baby won't be getting any vaccines at all.

Do plenty of research. People think vaccine reactions are rare, but they're not!
References :
http://www.thinktwice.com

I was worried about that too but you have to weigh out the benefits, and the chance of autism happening is SO miniscule. Just got my 2 month old done and she's fine! She's just been acting a little weird- tired alot and crying a lot but that's normal - give them tylenol if they have a fever though.
